Reflection: 2 Corinthians 5: 11-15
John Sala 22 times already in prison, ranging from theft to murder. But his encounter with a pastor in prison changed everything. John finally repents and accepts Christ and grows. While in prison, he attended a course in writing the Bible. When the bear finished, he came out as he boasted, “I will not come back!”
However, wrong. God called him back to prison. But this time in the prison service Little Lambs. He returned not as a prisoner, but as a servant of God, who introduced the love of God to the thousands of prisoners.
People who have God to save, no longer live for ourselves, but to God. That is the principle of Paul’s ministry. At that time in the church at Corinth, Paul’s ministry in compete by false teachers who lure the church with all the grace and skill exhibited themselves (verse 12). As they serve God when they serve themselves. Paul is not washed into such things, he did not want to steal the glory of God, and He lives only to serve the Jesus who saved him.
